in marijuana. Cesamet treats chemotherapy-related nausea and vomiting in cancer patients who donât
adequately respond to conventional treatments for nausea and vomiting. The drug
comes in capsules taken by mouth. The FDA originally approved Cesamet in 1985 when the drug was made by Eli
Lilly and Company. Lilly discontinued the drug in 1989 for commercial reasons,
according to news reports. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International bought Cesamet from Lilly in 2004 and
currently markets the drug in Canada. Valeant has revised the drugâs labeling
and expects to launch Cesamet in the U. S.âin the next several weeks following

The Therapeutic Goods Administration has received 12 reports suggesting an interaction between glucosamine and warfarin, marketed under the brand names Coumadin, Jantoven, Marevan and Waran, the Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee (ADRAC) reported in its latest bulletin.
